Inclusion trough sport for children with developmental disabilities
Project for regional cooperation financed by Island, Lichtenstein and Norway through EHP and Norway Grants.
On 27.9. 2023 was held the Slovakian Special Olympics Football Championship in Púchov. Special Olympics Slovakia and the Slovak Football Association organized this championship tournament at the Sport and Training Center in Púchov.
The atmosphere at the tournament was great and the athletes played group matches, semi-finals and finals. The tournament was enriched with fotbaal skill competitions. The athletes left the championships happy, full of endorphins and satisfied with the results achieved.
The most successful women’s team was the Žilina team led by Eva Jantáková and the most successful men’s team was also the Žilina team led by Jozef Švrhovný.
